Iggy Pop

Iggy Pop:
Renegade rocker Iggy Pop opposed to animal experiments at the University of Michigan. Iggy is teaming up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to stand against laboratory experiments. In a letter to the University wrote, “It’s common sense that cut the exception of pigs and cats mutilation is not the best way to train people for the treatment of humans … or [the University of Michigan] should not be harming animals when better alternatives already available to use on campus.
In 2009, wrote a letter to pop the same body thanks to the ban circus on campus. “As a native of Michigan, and I was thrilled when my friends in the house told me about the decision to the State of Michigan Board of Trustees’ clemency to ban animal circuses from the campus in 2009, and I hope you will consider making this a permanent policy.
And students who are concerned with the Humane Society has told you, the performance of animals deprived of everything that is natural to them, including the ability to roam and forage, and the formation of families and friendships. Beat circus trainers, shock, and the skin of animals … Make them perform tricks that are confused between the meaning of and for them.
